So this idea should be posted to the Logi team, so they can develop the new update taking that inconsideration, then they ask apple as a developer for the permissions they might need. making the flow function as a service on the Mac Sur system, that way, it will continue to work even I the app is closed. What I guess would be a solution is that in an update of Mac Sur, It ask you permission to enable Logi option to keep working in the background, or ever better. I might assume, that since the M1 processor is so efficient, it instantly kill any power consumption from the Logi app as soon as minimized. So That issue should be solved between Logitech and Apple.

I even tried, changing the way on how to move between computers (I marked press ctrl and move) and it didn't solve the problem. It seems that the M1 processor stops the background operation, so it won't detect the flow function when you move the cursor to the edge of the screen. I hace noticed that when the Logi options window is open, it works, but as soon as I minimized (not even close) the Logi options on the Mac the flow option stops working. Now I have update my MacBook Pro to a M1 MacBook Pro, and It just don't work. In the past I used to work seamlessly between my MacBook Pro and my Windows laptop. I haven't installed a single piece of Logitech software in the past 5 years which actually works as advertised (or reliably). It seems like their amazing hardware (I've got sooo much of it) is constantly let down by their software and support teams. I've also found that clicking the mouse button (in a neutral location) before trying to swap makes it more reliable (could be psychological though) which could be due to some energy saving magic in the M1 or some permissions granting mouse position info to Flow only after explicit user input.īottom line, it would be great if Logitech actually did their own support and debugging.

If that's an absolute number of pixels and the M1 graphics drivers are doing some magic relativity then the Logi software would take more aggressive mouse movements (or a non-scaled resolution being active) to work more reliably.
